Sorry but I haven't heard more than a few seconds of the first three songs on the CD. I will buy it later this year though, I'm sure Marc does a good job

I just listened to a ton of Globe in the last 24 hours, but now my portable MP3-player jukebox is broken!! You know what song I like on Lights? What's the justice?. It's very interesting and different. I like it a bit more than Come Into Existence. I think 'What's the justice?' is a song that should not be overlooked. Genesis of Next is a really good one, too, isn't it! I can't overemphasize the importance of Try This Shoot, though. Yeah, Over the Rainbow's a good one on L2, isn't it, Andesh? When I first got L2, one of the first songs I really got into was Transcontinental Way; it has a really great melody, although it starts to get a little repetitive at the end. For me, how a song starts is extremely important in determining how much I like the song overall. That's why I like Starting from Here more than Hitorigoto, because I think Hitorigoto starts off a little whispy. I really like the overall trance tune of Starting from Here. I also like its church organ type instrumentation.

Sorry to hear about your MP3 player, Joseph. Hopefully you can find a way to replace your loss easily.

Hehe, if you have to destroy your MP3-player, you must do it with globe. I hope you can fix it in some way!
What's the justice? starts of with some wonderful singing by Keiko. This part sounds perfect, I adore it:
yakusoku no ano basho de mou ichido kanjite kanaeteru yume hiroge hashiridasu kamo
But of course, the rest of the song is well made too. Tetsuya has succesfully made "What's the justice?" a unique song, it stands out pretty well from the rest. I agree with you Joseph, it shouldn't be overlooked! But the best track on lights is in my opinion genesis of next, maybe because it is the first song I heard from globe...
I often mess up hitorigoto and starting from here with each other, they are really alike. So it's hard to choose which one's the best.
Right now the globe album I'm listening most to is actually global trance best. It's different than globe's trance CDs in a way, it has a "rave" feeling to it, or something like that. I do prefer Lights/Lights2 and Level 4, but global trance best is good if you want to listen to heavier trance. And there's plently of good remixes on it

But the majority of Global Trance Best is just the songs from the previous Global Trances put together in a megamix... I have to admit that I was pretty upset when I realized this as I was expecting some more new remixes of songs on Level 4, of which there were only 3 on Trance Best.
About Hitorigoto and Starting From Here- Joseph and I were discussing that in this thread not too long ago. I admit that they're very similar, but for me, I like Hitorigoto A LOT more because of the lyrics in Marc's bridge.

Perhaps they should've included more songs from Level 4, I'd love to hear a trance remix on THE BOX! The VCD is nice though, but it would have been nice to actually understand what Tetsuya is saying

My mom and I are in the process of figuring out what to do with the broken player. I'll look at the user guide and warranty. BTW, the song that was playing when it stopped working was Inside. I HAVE heard some of Dream's songs before. However, I think most of what I heard came from some Eurobeat remix album or something because all their songs that I heard seemed to be heavy on the Euro sound. To me, eheir sound was just as you described it, a bit dull. I know Andrew said this a long time ago, but as a big Dream fan, I'd like to say overall Dream's singing is really quite good, and sometimes it's awesome! It's usually good singing, but in their recent album "I.D." the singing wasn't really good in all the songs, however, I've gotten much more accustomed to the album now and have gotten to like most of it. Dream is my favourite group. Two-Mix is too. They're both my favourite, but the fact that I gave five stars to 22 Dream songs in my media player, as opposed to 17 Two-Mix songs, and taking into consideration how many more songs Two-Mix has compared to Dream, that should give you an indication of how much I love Dream. I keep coming back to Dream World, which is pretty much my favourite album of all time. I got it a year ago, and I still think its songs are exciting. Dream's techno/trance songs have such extraordinary composition. I find it hard to tear myself away from listening to Dream! Okay, now I've got that off my chest. So anyways, what do you think of the Piano Globe album? What about that "Dream from Above" song with Push? I haven't heard either of those.

Haha. Well, then maybe I'll give Dream a try sometime in the future. As for Piano Globe, I've only heard a few songs of the album. They were pretty much as you would expect them to be. TK IS very good at playing piano, though, so the songs do come out very nice. As for Dreams From Above, it's alright. To me, I always get it confused with Tranceformation (at least until Keiko starts saying Dreams From Above); they're really very similar. Although, being that Tranceformation is another Push vs. Globe song, you may not have heard that one either. For DFA, think of a song kinda similar to Many Classic Moments in that it's a moderately-paced trance song with Keiko providing some very dream-like singing. Althoug, it does have a richer range of sounds than Many Classic Moments. Tranceformation, on the other hand, is an all-instrumental track. Not as good as Transcontinental Way, but still pretty good. Actually- I'm listening to Global Trance Best to check myself, and the Vincent De Moor's Budou Vox Mix of Many Classic Moments may actually be more like Dreams From Above than Tranceformation. You may end up having to get a remix album if you ever want to own the song .

Richard, I'm pretty sure my mom didn't buy it at the store. She bought it through a catalogue.

Piano Globe - globe piano collection is a nice album, but I actually expected more from it. Eight of the tracks are old piano songs collected from previous globe albums. They're good, but much better when you hear them in a real globe album. In Piano Globe, all the old piano songs comes in a row, that makes it a bit boring. They sound better when used as interludes or introductions.
There are also four piano versions of globe songs, and three tracks with an orchestra. The remade piano versions are really good, but the orchestra songs, Cyborg 009 theme 2, genesis of next and injection, makes the album something special. They make the ending of the CD quite fantastic. I'd love to hear more orchestra versions made by globe.
A nice album, but it can be a bit boring at some parts.

Thanks for your comments about Piano Globe, all.
My MP3-player jukebox is fixed!!! Woohoo! And I didn't have to do anything. I just left it off for a few days, and when I turned it back on today, it rebuilt the library and all was well!

You may want to look into getting someone to take a look at it and trying to figure out what went wrong the first time. Things like that are usually signs of worse part failure later on.

The catalog said that the player was compatible with Windows ME, but its software apparently wasn't. I think a few drivers may have gotten altered, but I can do everything with the player. The software it came with doesn't work. But I don't need that software to put songs on the player anyways. If my player works, then I'm not going to do anything.
