I just posted a message on the JP Move board. Also, you do not have to have any Avex Points in order to sign up.
And for those who have no clue, I picked LanLan as one of my faves because she did one of my fave songs on Tune On.

Thanks for the site. By the way... are you the guy who mentioned the beer + rock it down?

Thanks for ye olde instructions, Brad. Posted there as MysticalSand. I wrote mine in Japanese. For those who care - my five favorites I picked were: 1. m.o.v.e. 2. Janne da Arc 3. Hamasaki Ayumi 4. m-flo 5. Orbitribe

How were you able to write in Japanese? Do you have a JP keyboard, or is it more of a program based thing?
Not only that, but you know Japanese a lot better than me, yet I was able to decode/decipher the website and map out a guide for "the rest of you."
At least y'all used it, took an hour and a half.

Don't know about other people, but I've got a program that lets me type in JPN.

ETA: Oh, and the reason I couldn't decipher the page myself is because my translator is a POS, and I can't read that much kanji yet; I can read hiragana and katakana, and a bunch of kanji related to school activities and the days of the week and whatnot, but I'm not anywhere near good enough to translate yet.
Although I can tell you that the first thing in the drop menu for the "where do you live" thing was Hokkaido... apparently only people in Japan are supposed to sign up for that. Oops.
*smites*
You can type in Japanese just by installing it with your Windows disk, as far as I know. I can't really remember how because one of my pals at college did it for me, but basically I now have a "language bar", and I just select whether I want English or Japanese, and then I type. Woo.
In order to make it work, you type the word the way you would in romaji, and the corresponding hiragana pops up. If you hit spacebar, it'll give you options for kanji and the like, and you hit enter to confirm.
I _THINK_ how you do it, is you go to Control Panel, click on Switch To Classic View if you're not already on it, then click Regional and Language Options. Pick Japanese from the drop menu, then hit OK. On your Windows taskbar, on the side by the clock, you should then have a little EN. If you click the EN, you should get a menu that has English and Japanese on it.
If you right click and hit "restore the language bar" it'll migrate to the top of your screen and it'll have an option called "Input Mode". You'll want to select that and click "Hiragana" (or Full-width Katakana, if you're planning to use that). Then, type stuff.
If you find that it magically screwed up your clock somehow like it just did to mine, just go back to the Regional and Language Settings thing and put it back to English. It shouldn't affect what's on the EN menu.
Other than that, I have no idea. XD;

Remind me to move to Hokkaido when I move to Japan.
I don't know if I'll use that mode, I'd be talking in gibberish.
Mostly how I translated it was line-by-line trial and error in Altavista Translator and figuring out what it meant by the translations I got. Of course, some were easier than others. I enjoy the challenge, and quite frankly, I would have done it even if y'all didn't use the guide. As I said, I enjoy a challenge.
I really think that the "Japanese people are the only people who can sign up for that" is a load of mess. I mean, we're fans too. They made the English Move website BECAUSE there are ENGLISH speaking people who ENJOY Move. Only fair that they make a board, or maybe since we're here, they won't. We have a board, they'd see it as superfluous.

I'm not sure. Even then, the BBS is more like a guestbook now from the looks of it, rather than a forum like the old version was. I don't know if anyone from the band actually posts there. @__@;
