I'm checking it out now. It seems as though you have to be an Avex point club member in order to join. I'm gonna try it and post my methods here. Registration is free. It doesn't say, but I think that signing up in the Point Club makes it so that you can enter into any Avex message board.
1. Go to
point.avex.jp/member/index.jsp this is the site to sign up for being in the Point Club.
2. Pressing the blue button directly below the text or the top blue button on the left will take you to
point.avex.jp/member/pointclub/pcbtoutop.jsp this is where you sign up for the PC.
3. On this screen will be a message in a box, it's the Member Code, basically the Terms of Service. I won't post a translation because most ToS' are similar. The button on the left is agreement, the right one is "no." If you still want to register, select the left one and then click the next button. >>
Next is the actual process of signing up.
4. The next screen has all of the things that you usually have for signing up, such as username and password slots. Each line will be its own descriptor below. I won't describe them in too much detail, user name and password speak for themselves, others may need more description.
4A. This is where you install your User ID
4B. Password, 6-10 characters, alphanumeric.
4C. Keyword, if you forget your username/password. Each set of kanji on the left is a question, I can't translate them, but just put your "answer" in the field on the right, preferably something you'd remember.
4D. This slot if for your mail address. E-Mail address that is.
4E. Input the same e-mail address, for verification.
4F. Date of birth, "western calender" - this means Year, Month, Day.
4G. Gender, I hope you know yours, left is male, right is female.
4H. Name, in "Chinese Character" it says, I just input it in Romanji, in last name, first name format.
4I. Input "full" name it says, no clue, I just input the same as above.
4J. Postal code, in the US, this would be a ZIP, in the first box I put the first three of my ZIP, and in the second, the last two. The button next to this, do NOT push.
4K. Address. No clue on this one, just select one, I guess. If anyone can translate it, do it.
4L. Address of your town/village. City name?
4M. Street (and building) address.
4N. Telephone number. Doubt they'd call you from Japan though.
4O. How do you want E-mail from Avex? The top is HTML, the middle is TEXT, and the bottom is NO MAIL from AVEX.
4P. Click >>
4Q. At this point, it told me that I needed to fix the item which has the register sign of private information is input necessary, no clue what it meant at first, but later found that it had to do with my ZIP code, so I added some 0's to it.
5. On this page, input your username and password, you do remember them, right?
5A. Click >>.
6. On this page, you can select up to FIVE of your FAVORITE Avex artists. I selected Orbitribe, Favorite Blue, Move, LanLan, and Globe.
7. On this page, rank your choices from 1 to 5.
8. Look over what you've selected to make sure it's correct and press the Create User button.
9. High Grade Completion is registered as a temporary user. An e-mail has been dispatched to your e-mail account that you mentioned earlier. Click the link in there to become a Full Member.
Low and behold, I had an e-mail from Avex Online waiting for me as soon as I was done. Click the link. You're a MEMBER!!!!!
And, I will be VERY SAD if no one else signs up. It took me over an hour to do this.
