Yeah, I'm flat broke this time too. Last cd I bought was Eternal Flame (DAI) and before that, Infinity 1 (DAI), Humanizer, etc. but that was before I got sick last year. I just finished filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, so you can see why I haven't any cash. No job + debt.
Anywho, can't wait to give the album an eventual listen.

I've been listening to this album, so far, I think it's pretty weak.
I love Dream Again, Fate Seeker, Secret Candy, and My Decades. Those songs all rock. Especially Secret Candy.
The other songs, well, they made me wish Move had quit right after Systematic Fantasy and Grid. At least we would have been spared the insanity of Anim.o.v.e, we wouldn't have Gravity, but that's a sacrifice I'd be willing to make.
Move has been around for 13 years and in that time they have released 30 singles, 11 albums, 7 remix albums, and 3 Best Of albums. I believe Move has given us more than enough love over the years. It is time for Move to move on.
T-Kimura, is he in the band or not? I know he doesn't tour and he's currently a member of Aural Vampire (he is RAVEMAN, right?). Orbitribe needs to release a second album.
Yuri is currently newly married and pregnant and has decided to take a year off for family reasons.
Motsu has been toying around with other things, like Mother Ninja.
It's evident that Move is NOT the top thing on the members' minds at the moment.

*loves the entire album and will be crushed if m.o.v.e ever stops being m.o.v.e*
But that's just me. I don't think any of their music is particularly better or worse than any of their other music and I never have. As we're all aware, I'm highly biased and of the mind that m.o.v.e can basically do no wrong. They just really suit my tastes, I guess. It'd be easier to list my least favorite m.o.v.e songs than my favorites, because there are very, very few of their songs that I don't particularly care for, and even those I still listen to depending on what kind of mood I'm in. This new album's no exception.

First I have to say that my copy of Fate Seeker and Dream Again have FINALLY came in!! ;D I have listened to every song at least once, but I will give my official opinion of each song after I have listened to each at least 100 times, which will take a few days.... maybe.... possibly only one due to the fact that I will be in bed-rest for a while due to a severe back injury. Special note though, I don't remember the post about a move song with bagpipes, but at the same time do. Anyways Bar "Nine" was Awesome, the bagpipes fit into the song really well.
Okay ....... I know these are just the rantings of an obsessed fan who pretty much ONLY listens to move, and listens to them every single day, but I cannot keep quiet when someone says, “move should have "moved on", At least we would have been spared the insanity of Animove.” I personally loved every song n that album except Animove Type D Mix, and on that note I can name every move song that I think is "sub par" including every remix and why.
In order of release date
Disabuse; No singing, and not “instrumental”, My least favorite and least listened to song.
ROCK DA HOUSE; No singing, but very good in a "Rave, House Party setting".
Animove Type D Mix (DIVE INTO STREAM, Noizy Tribe, DOGFIGHT, Nobody reason ~Noah no Hakobune~, Gamble Rumble); Transitions make the song sound like it is skipping, which I HATE skipping (I have destroyed many burnt CDs and CD players because of skipping), could have better transitions, like non-stop CDs, Great song selection for the mix though.
I will admit that some of the songs I did not like that much at first, but once I listened to them more than once I began to love them. All of 34move - FAST FORWARD ~FUTURE BREAKBEATNIX~ was like this, but now I like it a lot and listen to it frequently, especially DEEP CALM, from that album. So they have put out 53 CDs and they have been around since Oct 1997, So What? I hope that I may be listening to new move songs for many years to come. I believe that all of their CDs so far have conveyed their thoughts and feelings to us as they “move” throughout the genres, just like they have always wanted. I also believe that move have created their own genera. I agree heavily with Mystical Sand in the fact that I am also highly biased and of the mind that move can basically do no wrong. In my mind move is the best band ever. I listen to their many songs every day, and will as long as I live. I plan to buy every version of every one of their CDs. If I were to put move on a 1-100 scale with every other band I have heard, and move was a 100, every other band would be less than 1 in comparison. So as you can see I think very highly of move.
And YES for the millionth time, T-Kimura is still a part of the band, and always will be, He just won't be showing up to any more lives.
NOTE: Was I the only one who noticed that Bar "Nine" has a line of lyric which reads, "Oh, Tell me how to see you again, monster amplifier"?
PS: Can anyone post a Romanji Translation of ギラギラ and シークレット★キャンディ tracks 6 and 8? Also Mystical Sand how can one sign up for platinum.o.v.e?

I'm in partial agreement with Variable. The album is "okay", but, seemed a bit weak compared to the previous original studio albums, imo. It still ranks higher than Boulder, though, which is my least favorite of them.
spot: They're GIRAGIRA and SHIIKURETTO ★ KYANDEI (Secret ★ Candy)

spotz, I'm glad you spoke up because it's always nice to know you're not the only one thinking along a certain line! I've got no qualms with people having favorites/least favorites and falling in and out of love with the band, but by the same token when I see something negative about them I always feel like saying something positive too to balance it out, even though I'm almost certain they don't read this board anymore like they used to. XD (That was before my time.)
My all time least favorite m.o.v.e song is still "Mission 2 Gemini". I don't know what exactly it is about that song but it just grates on me for some reason and no matter how many times I listen to it, it never really grows on me. I've written it off as a weird fluke, lol.
As far as anim.o.v.e goes, I liked most of the album, with the exception of the remix, like spotz said, and also I wasn't too fond of "ai ・ oboete imasu ka". That was more because I'm not fond of the song in and of itself than because of m.o.v.e's rendition of it, because I don't care for the original, either.
Nothing against Yuri's lyrics, for sure, but sadly so far I'm not a huge fan of the melody of "My Decades". Partly it's because I have to be in a certain kind of mood to listen to ballad-type songs, and partly it's because I'm a little miffed at how closely it resembles Pachelbel's Canon in D. They already did that with "Lookin' on the Sunny Side" and one of my old roommates used to play Canon on repeat all day long to the point that she kind of ruined it for me, so now whenever I hear it all I can think about is her and how annoying she was. /tangent Maybe it'll grow on me, but right now I'm not giving it a lot of play time. XD;
And yes, I heard the bit in Bar "Nine" about "Oh, Tell me how to see you again, monster amplifier". I love it when they make little nods to their older songs within their newer ones. IIRC there's an entire section of lyrics in "It's Only Love" that's the same as a section out of "Past Days".
My crap attempt at a translation of that one section of the song:
Oh, Tell me how to see you again, monster amplifier The scene is a flashback like the memory of that time The lyrics and sound paint the main characters' night It was a non-fiction story They talked together feeling nothing but loneliness in nothing but a dream The glow is 99.99 percent pure gold
That line about loneliness and dreaming, I'm really not sure about. Someone feel free to correct any of that if it's totally off.

Oh, spotz, I didn't mean to make it sound like I was ignoring your request before. It took me a while to find the link, but here is a link to where I put up the instructions for signing up for platinum.o.v.e (aka m.o.v.e's Mail Magazine): xo51.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=movenews&thread=989&page=1If anything doesn't work (since this was from a while back), let me know and I'll try to check it out, but I can't sign up for it twice, so I may not be able to get to the same pages as you. XD;
