ssjup81 - I'm 21 and finishing up my senior year of college this year, so I've yet to really have a full-time job. I work 9 hours a day in the summer, but it's not really the same thing. Yep, I'm definitely older than you. IMO, it's not really all that expensive. Seems about average to me. For instance, the reg version of the THYME album I bought, without the S&H would be about $27 (with tax). In the US, aren't full-length regular edition albums about $25 or so anyway? That's why I said it'd probably come out to be about the same, give or take a couple of bucks. The spike in price seems to be because of import fees along with S&H.All I can say is good luck with that. lol

hahahah... Oh my, Isabella's my m.o.v.e's collector's idol ^^. Impossible for me to catch her, I think I'll be satisfied with half of what she has... (that's not a joke^^).

ssjup81 - To be honest, I wouldn't know how much an album in the U.S. is anymore as I haven't bought one in years. >.>; I guess the reason I find Japanese ones so expensive is because back when I did buy CDs in the U.S. (aka in the 90s) I seem to remember them being cheaper. Oh, the economy... pedropinilla - I know, right? Her dedication is amazing! XD spike21 - What did you do, message him on his blog?

Update from Yuri: she says they've finished putting in the rap and singing, and now it's up to T-Kimura to finish the difficult task of creating the final mixes. She says it took a long time to get to this point and she's happy she's finally finished with her part. Then she talks about the image she posted, saying that she likes the good feeling she gets from lighting candles, and that T-Kimura also likes them, but that their engineer complained about the lack of lighting and got annoyed with them. XD; In the short entry below that, she talks about how people have been congratulating her on finishing the album and she went out and had beer and sushi to celebrate. XDD;
As for T-Kimura, nothing yet, but given what Yuri said, that's probably because he's crazy-busy. I also want it to be known for the record that his two kids? ARE SO FREAKING ADORABLE, OH MY GOD.
There, I got it out of my system. XD

By reading the text I can say Yuri has worked a lot for the album and is not a surprise that T-Kimura's always busy because he's a workaholic in every aspect of his life. But... Where's Motsu? Is there any info or comment from him? besides Mother Ninja of course. And... Where's Isabella?... would be good to know an impression from her about this new album.

Motsu's been conspicuously absent from m.o.v.e news lately, which makes me sad because I may or may not have a total fangirl crush on him. Going back through his posts on the Mother Ninja blog, I've not found him discussing m.o.v.e in recent weeks.
I will admit, too, that it's harder for me to read his words because Motsu is a very exuberant person and likes to add extra letters and squiggly lines and things to his words! He's making my amateur translation job difficult. :P But he amuses me highly; I just recently noticed that he signs off his posts with a pun: "Motsukaresama". It's a combination of his name and "tsukaresama" which... hasn't got a good translation at all, come to think of it. You say "tsukaresama" to people after they've been working hard at something; for example, it's how my Japanese teacher ends our class each day. So he's basically making a pun along the lines of "Motsu's been working hard and is tired now, so goodbye!"
Which really doesn't translate well at all. XD;

Yargh, Motsu's blog is super hard to translate! He mentioned m.o.v.e in his post today, posting an image of their recording studio. He said since it's the end of the year, everyone's really busy. I think he also says something about having been surprised by the deadline (presumably of the CD) but I don't know in that case who he's talking about. There are a few options, because he says "minna"...
1. He could be talking about Mother Ninja; I don't keep tabs on MN very much, so I have no idea if they have an album pending right now 2. He could be talking about m.o.v.e, in which case there are another two options: 2a. The members of m.o.v.e were surprised by the deadline that got set for the CD release OR 2b. They wanted to surprise the fans with the deadline being so soon.
I really have no idea what the subject of that sentence is. @__@
He goes on to say that in the meantime while the CD's getting finished up, he's been playing Monster Hunter (which I believe is a PS2 game). He then makes the "motsukaresama" pun that I mentioned in the post above, but uses the kanji for "hunt" for the "ka" part. Making the pun even funnier for me.
Motsu is such a goober. XD;

Well, they probably weren't informed about the new album's date of release and that is the explanation for the surprise >_<...
I hope they surprise us soon with the rest of the songs ^^.

I, for one, am REALLY HAPPY about this news! I have been off and on for the last couple of months because all bought from them this year is the DIVE INTO STREAM single! So you guys bet that I will pre-order this from CDJapan! I was wondering if this is going to come with a DVD too, but I doubt it because I really didn't see any videos or anything. Plus, they released a live DVD, so the possibility of a CD+DVD is pretty slim. I still think the DEEP CALM CD+DVD was the best value! pedropinilla - Thanks so much admiring my collection ^_^! I'm not joking when I say that I spent a lot of time (searching for some rare items) and money (no surprise there!) into m.o.v.e. I still remember how I got into them...I was in college and got into Initial D because I was into cars and stuff like that and my friend recommended me this anime. I watched it and heard Blazin' Beat, from the Second Stage, for the first time and was hooked! I had to backtrack on their earlier stuff and eventually caught up with OO7. I was kinda worried when they slowed down, but then again, they have a lot of side projects too. And they aren't the most profitable Avex group so I was afraid they might be dropped. But they do have a lot of underground fans as well as Initial D, which is popular within Avex. Well, looking forward to the new album! I might have to update my collection soon =P.

Hi everyone! Woah!... it's great to read you again Isabella ;D, no only for your collection but for you as a super fan of m.o.v.e too (like us ^^). You know, I'm also hyper happy knowing the new album release because it's been three years since GRID and that's too much time waiting for an original recording. And my situation was very similar to you, because I've been hesitating about the pre-order of the new album hoping for a CD+DVD release but I think it won't be this time, so, my pre-order's already placed ^^ (I hope many of us did the same ). Well, sadly I don't know nothing new but there's still a lot of time to find out more .

Haha, I feel like a lousy fan because I haven't pre-ordered it yet, but it's pretty much my policy to wait for the album to have a title before I pre-order it. ^^
And sadly, no news from me today, either. Yuri's and T-Kimura's blogs haven't been updated, and as for Motsu's, he doesn't mention m.o.v.e today, just sake, beer, and photo-shoots. XD;
