Weird, T-Kimura erased the entry about the explosion. I know it was there last night; I couldn't have translated it if it wasn't *has dictionary logs*. kakumei - What CDJournal is this? Stealth - I agree with you on BLAZABILITY. This is just gut instinct talking and I could be totally wrong, but reading the track name Lady Butterfly, I got the feeling that it'll be something akin to Freezing Rain or maybe Cherry Blossom. Which would be sweet, cuz I love those songs. But I have absolutely NOTHING to back that claim up with. XD; Also - yaaaaay, motsu remix! I've got my fingers crossed that the rest of the tracks are completely new songs. I miss the days of DEEP CALM where their CDs basically had two singles and everything else was new stuff! The element of surprise is fun. :D ETA: (do a lot of these lately...) Found some links - www.japantoday.com/category/national/view/2-bodies-found-after-explosion-fire-destroy-building-in-tokyos-shibuya-ward Shibuya sounds about right. I know m.o.v.e spends a lot of time there, doing concerts and whatnot, so I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that's also where their studio is. A little more official, from the Mainichi Daily News: mdn.mainichi.jp/mdnnews/news/20081112p2a00m0na012000c.html

Well, thank you kakumei for the first 5 songs of the tracklist but... and what about the others left... and talking about BLAZABILITY, with no doubt I think that's a trance song, maybe a mixture with Blue Jewel and Romancing Train... I think I'm already a little nuts ^^.
And like Stealth said, it's not a surprise to have the songs from "DIVE INTO STREAM" single, but, like Mystical Sand, I want to have new material. And I'll be checking those links to see what more we can find out.
See ya.

That's scary. I wonder what actually caused the explosion. And back to what's important to us, I also like a lot Maaya but my money's also on m.o.v.e's new album (c'mon ssjup81, we´ve been waiting 3 years since GRID...), and there's a purchase I'm already waiting from CDJapan, it will be released November 19 and included MELL's new single KILL, the album MELLSCOPE and a couple of singles from KOTOKO, so, right now... my wallet's empty ^^. Hmm, which to buy... By January, it will have been three years since a new full-length (not a mini, not a remix or compilation or anniversary album) for m.o.v.e, and nearly six for Maaya (she did put out a mini-album last year, but I'm sticking with full-length albums, not "heavy singles" which is what I consider a mini album anyway and it was also pretty much a "10 year thing"). Hmm, my last purchase was a m.o.v.e one (I bought Dive Into Stream first press release)... last Maaya purchase was 30minutes night flight. I might break down and get both. ^^; I so shouldn't be spending the money, but I'd really like to have both. Both come out in January.

ssjup81 - Could ask for the money to buy them with for Christmas...? lol If I was a kid, sure, but not as an adult. Borrowing money for something I need, yeah, but for something I want, no. I still haven't managed to find a job, and my funds are pretty much used up (haven't had any type of cash earned since June and ran out of extra money in about August; my parents had to take over all of my expenses). Only way I could buy either is if I did so on credit, which is why I'm very hesitant to buy either at all.

ssjup81 wrote:Well, after knowing your situation, I can understand you. It's a wise decision what you're gonna have to make and a difficult one too. And if you right now don't have a job I don´t see the credit as an answer because you'll have to paid for it sooner or later and maybe this way will be more expensive for you. At least, the only one thing that I can say to you is... I hope you can get a good job soon ! (hope, hope, hope ^^).

Be fan is not to buy everything about a band (it's psychological brain damage), more when only 9% of the price are for them for each CD sold ! They will prefer you support during a long time (that's why they made a 10years anniversary) more than seeing you buy everything you find during 1 year only. I'm poor too, i can't buy CD but that doesn't mean i won't do it when i'll have money. Buy something is more important when we want it because we like it than when we buy just to have it. If we buy every CD, they will never find that one is better than an other or isn't what people wished to hear from them.

That's very true, which is why I don't buy everything by every artist/group and all that. I'd be really broke then. lol
I wish I could find a job. I really do want these two albums, especially first press releases since they come with goodies.
That aside, I'm more hesitant on buying singles than albums. I don't own many of those since I don't feel that it's worth it to buy something so cheap for so much (due to S&H).
The only reason I bought Dive into Stream was because I had all those points saved up through cdjapan so I paid hardly anything for it.

Ah, the joys of growing up, huh? I'm pretty much at that point, too, but fortunately I have a lot saved up from my summer job because I'm a penny-pincher when it comes to everything except books and m.o.v.e paraphernalia. XD; Not sure what that says about me...
Yeah, singles are definitely a more difficult thing to justify as an overseas purchase, for me. For m.o.v.e I'll do it, but they're the only band who I like enough to do that with. I've been obsessed with them for almost eight years, now; what can I say? >.>;
CDJapan's point system is great! If it turns out that you can't get the CD, though, there's always the chance that they'll put it up on iTunes USA. I'm not sure how much they get for people buying it from there, but that's another, legal, much cheaper way to get a hold of it.

you know, I knew to m.o.v.e only three years ago and it was like to return to the times of the techno, because since then, the only thing to that I was listening was A DJ's music, but nothing with the quality and diversity of m.o.v.e.
It is not an obsession but I'm lucky to have little free "money" per month, which I spend wisely in different things that I like as the álbumes of m.o.v.e, and I don't regret because almost every song is brilliant ^^.
Yesterday I saw the news and they were saying that if one listens often the music you like it helps to your body to anticipe the cardiovascular and associate diseases. As you can see, m.o.v.e gives us a hand with our health ^^.

XD; Not sure what that says about me... Fan!! lol I get the feeling that I'm a tad bit older than you are. ^^; I didn't start actively collecting Japanese cds until about 2005, when I got nice, full-time, somewhat steady job at SunTrust. Lost that job July of last year. Haven't had a steady job since then so took out another loan and went back to school. I'll be done in April if I don't screw up and if I'm lucky, this time next year, I'll be in Japan on JET. ^_^ If I'm in Japan, picking cds by move will be very easy.I did buy THYME's first three singles and the group's debut album to be supportive, but I had those things pre-ordered for months, so they were already technically paid for.I hear ya. I've only been a fan, though, since about 2003 or 2004. It was enough to make an impact, though. I own all of the original albums 'cept for Operation Overload 7 and Boulder. I'll get Operation Overload 7 someday, but I don't mind not owning Boulder. I didn't like the album all that much. As for another group I'm a huge fan of, I'm definitely one of Do As Infinity. I'm dying to buy whatever they're putting out next since the group's "comeback", but that's on hold as well, even though, I think they're supposed to be coming out with something next spring. Another group I'm also really liking is THYME.Yep. I just wish I had more points right now. I have a little over 400.Yeah, that's a way, but, I will admit to being a bit stubborn and old fashioned. I just rather own the actual cd, especially a first press release because of the goodies that come along with it, like the poster that came with Dive into Stream or the concert stuff with Deep Calm's special release or the poster and passport and other goodies I got with 30minutes night flight (for Maaya) or the art work that came with Rie Fu's Tobira album or the partial concert for Akino Arai on the special release version of Sora no Uta. Stuff like that is pretty cool.

ssjup81 - I'm 21 and finishing up my senior year of college this year, so I've yet to really have a full-time job. I work 9 hours a day in the summer, but it's not really the same thing. JET Program's supposed to pay pretty decently; but you only really save on the shipping cost, unfortunately; Japanese CDs are expensive. DVDs are worse, though... oh, Japan. My second favorite band used to be (still kind of is) Janne da Arc, but they broke up, so all my attention goes into m.o.v.e now. I follow the Janne boys' solo projects but that's five CDs instead of one, so there was a bit of a price spike there. T__T I've been into m.o.v.e since 2001, so it's been quite a while for me. ^^ I own all the original albums and now I'm working on wheedling the singles out of people as birthday/Christmas gifts. >.> I bought a few while I was over in Japan last year, too. I'm trying to catch up to Isabella from this forum, haha. ^_~ I have very few points on CDJapan right now because I didn't buy from them for the year I was actually in Japan (well, duh). Yeah, I'm not big on iTunes either, but I figured it's better than flat-out torrenting the CDs (*gasp* THE HORROR!). Grr... DIVE INTO STREAM poster... wanted that. Didn't get it. Stupid bank...
