I bought a couple CD's today, globe's "lights" and Orbitribe's "tune on" Other than the euro global CD, I haven't heard of any of globe's songs, so I decided to check them out. However, I hated every single song on that album, which came as a disappointment... almost seems like a waste of $5.00. Keiko's voice started to annoy me from track 8 on. The Orbitribe CD was all right, but I'm not sure I would want to pay regular price for it. There is a lack of vocals on the CD though (3 songs are instrumentals). My favourite songs on the album are Orbitribe and Desire.

Really? You hated it? I mean, I guess everyone's got their own tastes, but I've never heard of anyone who hated the music on Lights. Nor did I really expect that. Do you not really like electronica/trance/techno? Maybe it just wasn't the music you were expecting?

I don't know what it is. I just ended up hating every single song. I like trance more than those other 2 genres you mentioned, but for some reason it just came together as a big jumble o'crap to me. Makes me wonder why everyone is making such a big deal out of that Tetsuya Komuro guy. I like t-kimura better!

Wow. Alright, well, like I said before I guess: to each his own . Sorry you ended up picking something up that you felt was a waste. Especially if any of my posts on here about how much I love Globe swayed your purchase.

i got Orbitribe too, like last month. I was going to write up a review for it here, but i got lazy and never got to it . I agree, there is a lack of vocals, and some songs do get rather repetitive after a while. I like the Stomper song with motsu alot, lol. It has a fun beat. I also like Mirage alot. hmm maybe I'll write up a full review someday

Tune On is pretty good. I loved Desire and I think that Light in Motion is a beta (or further progressed) version of Venus in Paradise from Synergy.

i don't know why they didnt use the paula person again for the Desire song. The singers broken english is the only thing keeping it from being my fav song on the cd.
