Thmlues - life is jinsei
First off, i believe you pronounce their name as "Sumurusu". Secondly, this band is great. (Note I've gotta search for a different word to use besides great lol). But yes, back to the point, they are GREAT. This album "Dreamy Wormhole ยก Jen" is just the thing you need in your collection. His songs are catchy and mellow. The music is light and jam-able. Sorta makes you want to nod your head and tap your feet. Wow, I'm terrible at reviewing...lol
Ayumi Hamasaki - Free and Easy
I have no clue how old this song is. My friend gave me this as a preview to her songs. At first I was reluctant to listen because I never was a fan of Ayumi, however; I was surprise to find myself liking this song. It was quite catchy and the transitions from low and mellow to loud and almost screaming(not really) were perfect. I gotta say the music video didnt make sense, but i still like the song. Now, I'm going to try her other ones.
From Whence He Came - The Curtain Call
Like all reviews I like to give my opinions on the great and mediocres. From Whence He Came is a Beat Crusader wannabe. What do I mean? I mean they are a Japanese band who sings in English....and fail. I did not like the lyrics since it was hard to make out. I did not like the melody. Instead of nodding my head in approval, I shook my fist for a refund. Actually, I'm being quite harsh. They weren't as bad as other bands may be. I did enjoy some portions of their song. But I dont think listening only 1/10 of the song over and over is worth the time, money, and space.
