Well, it seems that way to us in the West, anyway . Well, Move's site has been updated today... actuvally, it seems incomplete still (some missing buttons, etc). But anyway, head over there, and you get a nice splash screen swith some animation about how MOVE is the number one remixed asian artist (I thought that title belonged to Ayumi?- I mean, look at how many remiex are on her singles). Plus, they've revealed that they're going to be releasing their new singles on iTunes as well. Yes, even iTunes America. So, if that's how you prefer to get your music, more power to you. Lastly, there's something about a music video made in conjunction with Initial D. They've got a tracklisting up for Freaky Planet as well as a sample of it. Again, I'm dissapointed with the short track list. But with these 4 singles coming out so quickly, I'm kinda hoping a new album which includes them isn't too far off. Oh yeah, and it seens Move is acknowledging their Western fans- there's now an English version of the main site. Anyway, go head over there, enjoy the flash animation, and listen to the sample track. It's actually pretty awesome-sounding.

Wow so cool. I noticed that the CD + DVD version and the regular CD Single version have different covers. Does that mean I have to buy both?

Haha! I knew it! There's an English version of Freaky Planet (or at least that's the clip that plays if you go on the English site and click the link at the bottom of the main page to listen to the WMA clip of it...) When there's a lack of Yuri vocals on a single, it usually means (lately anyway) that there'll be an English version. *glee*
My computer is taking for-freakinig-ever to download this splash page, though...

According to that site, there's a contest where you can submit a remix version of Freaky Planet. Amongst the prizes for winning is the chance for the winning version to be on Move's next album. Man, I always wanted to play around with that kind of stuff, and this seems like the perfect reason to. Deadline is in October (31st if I remember correctly). Pretty cool idea, if you ask me. I think I may actually try this out if I can figure out how to use the tools they tell you to use.

Yay! Thanks flashyouback! It doesn't look by the tracklisting that the English version's going to be on the single... unless they're actually releasing two separate singles... which would be bizarre and expensive... XD; But anyway, head over there, and you get a nice splash screen swith some animation about how MOVE is the number one remixed asian artist (I thought that title belonged to Ayumi?- I mean, look at how many remiex are on her singles). Is it saying they're the number one artist, or that they got PICKED for something? It looks like they're entered in some contest or something. Or maybe I'm just not understanding it properly...? Like, it says, "the most famous REMIX contest in the world" and "ACID PLANET" selects M.O.V.E. as first Asian group"... Either way... I like that little slogan thing. "Reborn to the future". ^_^

And sorry for the double-post, but I just went to that contest entry part of the Acidplanet site and noticed... Joseph, they've got a link to that interview translation on your site! It's www.acidplanet.com/contests/move/here, first link in the "About the Artist" section.

Could they be referring to T-Kimura's efforts? The remix contest thingy sounds interesting. Anyways, all three of them look soooo different on the revamped website. I could hardly recognize them!

What is going on with move?! All of a sudden they are on ACIDplanet and contests and such. Are they trying to make it big in the U.S.? This is all so sudden and confusing with their website. But it's all good.

I just hope they wont fuck it up like what Utada did. Agreed. As much as I think it's cool that they're making English songs now... it's their Japanese songs that I fell in love with. So I hope that if they start making appearances in the US that they'll still sing in Japanese... Also, Yuri is gettin hotter ever day, and it hope it will stay that way until she is the untimate goddess of hotness Haha... I have to say the same about Motsu... minus the goddess part... XD [/girly moment]

Just got back from vacation, and of course X-Day was the first thing I checked. What a surprise! The new site looks awesome, and even an english version too! Not forgetting the english move songs on iTunes which is a great idea in my opinion. Looking forward to hearing these remixes! If any WoM members enter, the best of luck to them! We gotta win it

I'm gonna enter the contest most def.
And if any of y'all want to have a small contest using my radio show as the place where people can judge, that'd rock too.

That sounds like a cool idea. What would be a good date, as far as giving people enough to develop something and what's convenient for you?
