Just wondering what people's opinions are on Nokia's N-Gage, and the new N-Gage QD. I'm considering getting one soon, as the online play is very tempting. The future releases such as Pathway to Glory look very good too.

I don't like how game cartridges are supposed to be inserted for the N-Gage. You have to take apart your phone just to put one in. Seems like a hassle if you want to change games.

That feature has been sorted though on the QD, which is the one I was thinking of getting. It has a card slot at the bottom.

I'm not gona bother with the N-Gage, The new Nintendo DS and Playstation Portable are looking better, the DS with dual screens and online play as well. And the PSP, well, you know it's gona be good, coming from Sony.

I'll consider buying a PSP when I see the quality of the games. The games on the PS2 were so poor that I'm now selling it. I haven't used it in 6 months.

I played quite a range of games. The majority of games I played quickly became boring, such as Final Fantasy X, Kingdom Hearts, Primal. It also seems that many of the games which I would want for PS2 are available on all other consoles, therefore I bought the games on Xbox/GC (mainly for extra features such as custom soundtracks) and rarely ever used the PS2. I found that even though many people love the console, the range of exclusive games did not fit my needs.

I went ahead and bought an N-Gage QD, and the difference between this and the classic N-Gage is huge. Everything about it just feels so much better, and the things that made me not even consider buying the first N-Gage (Sidetalking, MMC slot under battery) have been sorted. It's a great replacement for my T300, which broke last week. Edit: Just found out that the QD has online multiplayer via the N-Gage Arena. Now all I need is a game that supports it

Mmm yeah I bought n-gage like when it was released here in Finland. I really didn’t like to play with it, but I tested like all of the games of that time and I would have to say that sonic was the best of them. I actually decided to buy n-gage like an half an year before the release, on a large demo "festival" called Assembly. It seemed so cool then. I still like all the other functions than the games, like the mp3 player and the real player. I still think Nokia should just sell tires. ;D
