I think this series is totally awesome.
I'm just wondering if anyone has played any of the CastleVania games.

I've played two of the SNES ones (Don't remember which) and Symphony of the Night for PS1. The 16-bit ones were pretty cool, but a little too hard for my liking. I did beat them, it was just more frustrating than I would have liked. Symphony of the Night was better in my opinion, because you could level up your character and equip cool items, like sunglasses! All of these games had really good music, too.

Yeah...the music is good isn't it? You should check out the soundtracks Konami has put out for CastleVania. There is an album called Dracula New Classic that contains a few classical arrangements of some notable tunes. There are also two gothic rock albums released as well, known as the Dracula Battle series. Those totally rock!
As for games I have plaved: Haunted Castle (the CastleVania arcade game) CastleVania CastleVania II: Simon's Quest Super CastleVania IV CastleVania: Bloodlines Dracula X CastleVania: Symphony of the Night CastleVania: Circle of the Moon CastleVania: Harmony of Dissonance CastleVania: Aria of Sorrow
I still need to play Lament of Innocence, which I need to get from my friend.

I've played 1,2,3 on the old NES (never did finish them though).
I got to Dracula himself in Super Castlevania 4.
I used to have Symphony of the Night unti my brother loaned it to a friend of his who moved away 3 days later (I don't know who was dumber, my brother or his friend).
That was the last one I played, I beat it too.

Anyone ever find the Play as Simon Belmont cheat in some Ninja Turtles game? I think it was Turtles in Time.

I played ever single one. Also I tune out the sounds and play the RE soundtrack.
More than 1000 sounds of taking out zombies. From drills to grills. Here them boast in many screams of torment when they get X.X

Anyone ever find the Play as Simon Belmont cheat in some Ninja Turtles game? I think it was Turtles in Time. If you didn't know already, that was an April Fools joke created by EGM magazine. It wasn't as legendary as the "play as Sheng Long in Street Fighter 2 and 3" joke. It was actually believable at that time, seeing as Konami did produce those TMNT games (which they are still doing).

I played some Dracula game on NES at my friend's house one day several years ago. But other than that, I haven't played CastleVania. In the 80s and early 90s, the only video games that I played were Mario and Mega Man. It has always been true that I've had a small selection of games that I play.
