Does it have excellent graphics? Is it really scary and gory?

Does it have excellent graphics? Well depends what you call excellent Compare my PC to a PS2 and you'll notice the "just slight" graphical difference! (Note the sarcasm ;D)

Richard, you have SH3 too??
Well, regardless of the graphics, is it scary? Is it fun?

I'm probably going to get the PC version, I'm just waiting for it to be released. The graphics on it excellent. It's a really gory game too. I've heard it's very scary, I'll have to wait and see

It's a really great game! It is fun and its really creepy. Especially when the music dies and its all dark. And all you can hear is a monster breathing in the distance. I've heard/played much gorier games out there. But that doesn't mean that this game doesn't have blood.. I've only made it to the 2nd stage, before having to take the game back to the rental place. So maybe the game gets more vilolent and gory. I'll have to rent it again and see. I wanna beat it as well I've only played it on the PSX2 and the graphics are so good!!

I've played the first and second game.
It's really scary. Better when the music is off. All that sound and just waiting for those monsters to come after you.

Konami just announced they have plans for a Silent Hill movie. There already will be the Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil Apocalypse movies in 2004. I wonder when they are gonna make a movie about Fatal Frame...

I thought the Resident Evil film was so boring. 2 hours of people wandering around a building. It's up there with Jeepers Creepers too.

The first half of Jeepers Creepers is actually good, but in the second half, it's just not as interesting. In Jeepers Creepers 2, there's no real backstory to what is going on-- it focuses on the action part.
I just saw Underworld today and it was fantastic! It had the feel of an RPG game. How long has it been since horror movies have had this much intrigue?? The only movies that I've seen since school began have been horror movies.
So my parents say "What movie did you see? What was it called?" and I'm all "Do you really want to know?" and they're all "Yes!" Then I said "Underworld." And they're like "That movie is demonic isn't it! Why did you see a demonic movie?!" Parents will be parents. -_-
On a side note, I forgot to include House of the Dead in my list of upcoming horror game-movies. I have the same concern as Richard: why are there this many video game horror movies coming out? Since when do video game horror films do so well at the box office? Ah well, I'll give some of them a chance.

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about Underworld. I'll have to go and watch it myself when it is released

I don't usually read reviews of movies to help me decide whether to see them unless it's pretty unlikely I'll see it. I decide for myself and so should you. But I always read Cinescape's reviews after I see them (Cinescape is my life).
If you want non-stop action, Underworld might not be your kinda movie. But it was definitely my kinda movie. In fact, I had a dream about werewolves last night! And I never have those.

I quit obeying reviews when GamePro said that Xenogears was the worst game ever made.
The local paper said that Underworld sucked. I take that to mean it's probably good.

I wonder when they are gonna make a movie about Fatal Frame... At the Tokyo Game Show, Tecmo said DreamWorks is now doing the adaptation for Fatal Frame. John Rogers is writing the script. Now we're cooking.

I don't see how Fatal Frame could be made into a good movie by an American film company; the game is set in Japan and has an all-Japanese cast. I doubt if the movie would. It will probably be changed to suit the average American's taste, just like they dubbed(horribly) the voices in the game. But the game is great. I've never been so scared in my life, and I'm not just talking about in games. It was actually hard for me to play more than a few minutes at a time, because I dreaded seeing another ghost so much. That game probably took a few years off my life! Silent Hill (the series), didn't scare me at all, though. I think it's just too weird to be scary. Plus, I played it after Fatal Frame. That's like fighting with a housecat right after you've fought with a lion, or something like that... Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly is supposed to come out Nov.10 (this Monday). It looks even scarier than the first... ... ;D
