So I got a $20 gift card for my birthday from a friend at work, and she specifically mentioned that I can use it on jpop. (kpop's equivalent to me). So I'd like to work with her expectations. Problem is, pickings are kinda slim on Amazon. Anyone have any suggestions for something that can be bought there? I'd kinda like something by an artist that I don't already have. (If you'd like, you can check out my list of things I have in the "How Big Is Your Jpop Collection?" thread.)

I would recommend going here: tofurecords.com/index02.phpand seeing if there's any bands that tickle your fancy and then heading over to Amazon to see if there are any on there.

If had an Amazon gift card, I wouldn't limit myself to Jpop/Kpop, but that's just me. You didn't put that you owned Nami Tamaki's first album Greeting, so I'd recommend that. Also, TM Revolution and Utada are pretty good.

Thanks guys. I had to put in a little extra of my own money, but I was able to basically hit both of your suggestions. I got Greeting by Nami and Full of Elevaitng Pleasures by Boom Boom Satellites.

I love "Dive For You" by the Boom Boom Satellites. It was on the recent Appleseed movie. Great song.

Yeah, the sample I heard of it on the Boom Boom Satellites' webpage (which is awesome by the way) was pretty good. It's from their new album, though. I prolly would like that one better overall, but it was much more expensive at amazon. So I'll just get it some other time if I like the one I got.

Actually, I was wrong; Dive For You's on the CD I just bought.

Heh. That's far too vague for me to be able to answer it .

Would you dive for me if I was at the bottom of a pool?
Un-vague?

Haha. Only if you're drowning.
