I don't believe I've ever heard of Weiss before. So does that have anything to do with Weiss Kreuz?

Thank you for clearing that up, Andrea.
So you are a fan of this Japanese radio drama series?
What I'd like to hear is a good radio drama, but considering the state of radio today, it's practically hopeless.

I used to listen to Adventures in Odyssey, a radio drama. It was good sometimes, bad sometimes. The popularity of radio drama has been steadily declining since the advent of the television set.
Other than Adventures in Odyssey, I haven't heard too many audio dramas. The reason that I'd like to listen to one is because I want to know what it felt like to sit around the radio and listen to one, just like they did in the 1930s and 40s. I guess I'd like to try something like that because it's nostalgic, or old-fashioned.
I guess I don't mean to criticize radio today, but it's just meant for a different audience (namely people in the car or people working). Before TV, radio was the only thing people had, so I think more effort was probably put into its quality. And before radio, families used to sit around the piano and sing songs. And before that, they sat around the fire.
I hope I don't become so modern that I lose my appreciation for the finer things in life. We should be building on to the items of our history and culture, not simply replacing them because they're 'low tech.'

That's really cool. I get that "you're acting like an old man!" sometimes from my parents too.
BTW, I'm not saying that we should remove the TV and gather 'round the radio or piano every night. All I'm saying is, if you actually try some of those old-fashioned pastimes, and have an open mind, you might actually find that they are just as fun as the modern stuff!
