Did anyone here tried to watch any of the Japanese music variety shows such as Music Station, Hello Morning, SMAPxSMAP, Hey Hey Hey, Utaban, Musix, etc.?

My cousin's favourite show used to be Hey Hey Hey Music Champ. But I've never really got to see any of these programs, except once I remember watching Puffy AmiYumi on some program like that on a cable preview channel once.

I've seen a Music Station as well as a SMAPxSMAP episode.
I didn't understand what they were saying but I got the gist of it by looking at what they were doing and reading a few kanji.

I forgot to ask... What kind of artists are featured in these shows? Move, by chance? Or any others? Because if they have as guest Morning Musume or groups like those, I don't think I'll download them. I don't really like those kind of japanese groups or music. ^^UUU

The ones I've leeched so far feature artists such as SMAP, Aiko, Aiuchi Rina, Utada Hikaru, and Tackey & Tsubasa.
It was cool to watch Hotei Tomoyasu play Battle Without Honor or Humanity (a Kill Bill track) on one of the Music Station shows.
It's weird how Rina talks...although she talks like a chipmunk, I really love her singing voice!

Mmmm... I'll do my best to try and download them. ^^ If I finally watch one of them, you'll be the first to know it so we can comment about it, ok? ^_^ Maybe thanks to you I'll learn something else about j-pop.

Hey, I love Rina Aiuchi. I have all of her original albums. Her speaking voice is so funny, isn't it!

SMAPxSMAP is great! Katakana & Kanji reading really help understand what is going on. How about wasabi to go with your dessert?
