Come on, people, show a little confidence! Buy some CDs without any previewing! Show a little bravery and trust folks. Especially if you know a specific music artist is good, then why would they let you down?? If you read my post you'd have seen that I do.

OK, the most god-awful thing I have ever heard HAS to be the Initial D "Special Vocal Battle" on the SEB Presents Initial D Second Stage Non-Stop Selection CD. I think it was meant to be like a karaoke megamix or something. The thing is, they got the most horribly out-of-tune, completely-lacking-in-ability-to-sing man alive to sing along to the songs. They would have been better off making it just an instrumental megamix. Having said that, though, the first track (the actual nonstop megamix) is pretty good, so the CD's not a COMPLETE loss.

I'm reviving this topic because, let's face it, a lot of bad music has come out.
I think that Megumi Hayashibara's 1999 album "Fuwari" is perhaps the worst Jpop CD I own. Sure, it has two good songs, Question at Me and Daybreak Impression, but the rest are pretty much boring, dull, slow songs. I would discourage people from buying Fuwari unless absolutely necessary. Contrariwise, I think Megumi Hayashibara's 2004 album "Center Color" was one of the BEST albums of the year! I think she's getting better.
I thought Dream's album last year "ID" was pretty bad too. I love "Wo Ai Ni" and "Embrace Me," but other than that, I was pretty disappointed. I don't like Dream's new album "Dream meets Best Hits Avex." Dream has been releasing too many old rehashes lately. Dream is coming out with a new single on March 2 and a new album on March 9, and I will only buy them if I know that they've improved.
To tell you the truth, I have not been really pleased with Move's recent releases either. I think Ghetto Blaster is their worst single to date. And I'm not a really big fan of How to See You Again, however... its B-side Noizy Tribe is good enough to save it. "Boulder," on the other hand, has a few good songs on it-- my fave is Rock Da House.
The only Japanese artists I seem to follow anymore is Nami Tamaki and Two-Mix.

Really? That's so lame. Why don't they just admit they can't make new music anymore? I'm not going to buy their CDs anymore until they shape up.

Well the new single preceeding the album is sposed to be good. Its got a cd&dvd and a special 5 year anniversary packaging one . But I have a feeling either this is the end of dream or they are going to release a new album at the end of the year with original stuff. Follow their trend: Album, Album, Best of <<<<<with Mai Album, Album, Best of <<<<<<with new girls Album, Best of <<<<<<< bit diff but if theory proves its a new album next.

My worst J-pop cd was... Fastfoward. Wasn't what i exspect. IT was ok, but i only got a few J-pop Cds so I don't have much to say. Anyways Fastfoward's remix was meh. Painless Pain was really crap, Deep Calm had too much music that i drown out Mostu's vocal part. But it did had some goos song like Runaway(still not convince it is Yuri wispering in the begining!!!!) and Riot Generator. hope MOVE's next remix will be "different." Remix is what made me fell in love with MOVE in the first place *hint hint *Euro Movement*hint hint*

The worst CD I've purchased has got to be Namie Amuro's Queen of Hip-Hop. My friend (who likes m.o.v.e) recommended it to me, so I bought it... AND HATED IT!

Yeah, I didn't like Queen of Hip-Hop too much either. But don't think that she's a bad singer. Her album before that, Style, in fact, was really really good.

Man Joseph, that is exactly what i did. I just bought some random band...and boy was i screwed. I got Cherry Coke's Beer for Vapid and it was really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really bad. I couldn't stand it and i wasted my money. Tip from me guys, don't be brave, be smart, preview your music before you buy it unless you know the album is good.
