I don't know, I just thought that after the revelation I layed on you, that you would somehow resent me for coming clean. It was something I needed off of my mind so that I could continue to function as a normal person.
The thought, it was always in my mind, trying to claw its way out and be known. I don't know why it consumed me so, but I knew that I had to tell you.

I really like the Malice Mizer song Syunikiss. I'd really like to make a video out of it, but I recently found that it's either based on or is the basis of a Malice Mizer movie a few years ago.
I also found the English translation for the lyrics (I'll post them tomorrow). When I first read them, it seemed like the singers girlfriend died and he was grieving, then he went to the funeral and still found no solace.
But, now that I've read it more, it seems like he got his wish, sort of. In the song his lover dies, and he then prays to God to return her to life. Which He does, sort of. He brings her to life as a doll, with no emotion or memory of her previous life.
Gackt then finds that she should have emotions, so he asks God to return to her her "Heart" or soul. But He does not. So then Gackt finally realizes that the dead should stay dead and asks God to "Return her to the sky"
When I heard the song, I knew it was deep. You don't have to understand the lyrics to get the feeling the artist wants to convey. It just comes through naturally. That is one reason I like J-Pop/Rock.

I just got a Malice Mizer DVD ^_^
It has the Bridal of Rose movie on it, the Beast of Blood video, and a Mervilles concert video.
It's excellent. BoB sounds awesome and evil. I just translated it. Sweetness and evility never sounded so good.
The movie is horrible and I can't make out a word other than "Vampire" which the narrator says about 27 times a paragraph.
The concert is sweet. They all have cool outfits and such and is really good.

Congrats on getting your Malice Mizer DVD! Jrock lyrics are very cool, i haven't seen one song that did not have deep/poetic lyrics to them. Oh! Gackt has gone back to a more gothic sound again, than his poppish sound. A CD that came out in December (that i'm going to buy at Ohayocon, called Crescent) has a totally awesome song called 'Lust for Blood'. Highly recommended! Another song i recommend is 'Last Song' (released last Nov.) - simply beautiful ballad and one of my fav. songs of all time. I also have the english lyrics for both of these songs, and well, they are just awesome

The DVD is really good. I've been watching Beast of Blood almost nonstop.
I had no idea that Beast of Blood was done by Klaha. I like his voice.
Mervilles is Gackt.
WHO DOES BRIDAL OF ROSE?!?!?!
And is it true that Mana is a man? I mean damn, she looks like a cute Japanese Goth Chick!!!!!!!

Wow Richard.... I'm pretty sure i've stated this before: There are very few females in japanese rock. So a male will usually dress up a little or a lot more female than the rest of the group. Mana in Malice Mizer, Aya in Psycho le Cemu, etc. Cause it's kind of boring to have so many all guy groups, so they change it up a bit. Also in japan, the females really find males (with delicate feminine features) attractive. Pretty boys are loved in Japan. Its kind of like what the US had back in the early and late 80's. Oh and by the way, even if the guys dress up as girls, it does not mean that they believe that they are female, and/or are gay. Aya (for example) is very attracted to the ladies.

I love the way Mizer looks in the Beast of Blood video (have you seen it?). I want to get some of my friends and I to cosplay that (I've never cosplayed before, so I must be really excited). I'm gonna do Klaha. I need to make a copy of the video and send it to my friend Thomas so he can pick who he wants to do. And, I would really like an actual woman to be Mana.
Any other good Mizer songs?
I know that it does not mean they are gay, I read that Mana really likes the ladies.
That has to be some conversation starter:
Lady: So, what do you do?
Mana: I was the woman in Malice Mizer.
Lady: WTH?!?!?!
Mana: I also played an electric guitar like a violin.

Just think of them as J-Rock versions of "Kiss", just more flamboyant. Same goes with X-Japan.

I love X-Japan too.
Forever Love and Endless Rain are my favorite X-Japan songs.
Sucks that Hide died before they could make their comeback.
I also found Lust For Blood. It's awesome ^_^ You said you had the translation... right?

Yes, they broke up a year before Hide died, but, supposedly Yoshiki and Hide were talking about bringing X back in 2001, but with Hide doing vocals. But, that plan fell through when Hide died.
And I've been trying to DL Last Song off and on for the past week.
