YesAsia came through! This is the best! us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/pid-1004039716/code-j/version-all/section-music/did-97/That didn't take long. I'm going to preorder it right away. "II Mix Delta" seems to be the new name for Two-Mix since Joe Rinoie joined them. I'm even going to order one of Malice Mizer's old CDs too ("Bara no Seidou"). I didn't realize YesAsia had such a good selection of Malice Mizer albums. "Judgement" does sound kind of like Level 4, doesn't it? Even without regarding instruments-- I know they have the unique singing anyway. Globe's new album does sound pretty good. I'm sure I'd like "Feel Like the Wind" too. Did you notice that Here I Am is the new opening theme for the TV Tokyo anime "Blackjack"? I just checked out HMV, and they said that Globe's new album is called "Globe 2 Pop / Rock." It's likely I will get Globe's album with Megumi Hayashibara's latest single "Makenaide makenaide," which I've been meaning to buy. I can't wait to hear all these great releases!

Yeah, I saw the thing about Blackjack on CDJapan's site. BTW, Globe's site has been updated today with three more preview tacks. So it's looking like an 11-track album now. Maybe more? If we're lucky? One of the new tracks (see the next page) sounds like a TK instrumental, too. I'm getting so excited about this one.

Oh cool. "Shift" sounds really good. With so many tracks, it looks like it will be a great value for your money. Their album looks like a winner.
It looks like Delta One is going to be released by Geneon Entertainment, so I went to their website to read a description of the product. It said that II Mix Delta seems to have moved from dance to a more pop sound. Whatever that means, I really hope that they will keep up with their good standards, and I think they will.

Cool. Hearing all about Two-Mix's newest venture from you is getting me excited about their new album. I may have to pick it up this fall. If nothing else, the tracklisting seems cool. Is there any site with preview clips?

I looked all over, but I couldn't find sound bites for it anywhere. I even listened to those radio shows again, but didn't hear a word about it. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually added samples on their website. They mentioned Masami Okui's radio show on the site. Maybe it was a cross-promotion because Masami Okui is with Geneon too. The Geneon site said that II Mix Delta is moving from dance to pop, but I'm not sure about that because two online stores that I've visited organized Delta One as dance/techno. Plus, the background of Two-Mix and Rinoie is dance. Nonetheless, I'm ready for whatever music that they produced. I preordered it yesterday. I'll probably be ordering Globe's new album a little later as well. Along the way, I found a most helpful site. Listen.co.jp allows you to search the web for "shichou" (sound samples) if you search for artist name in the top search bar. I've been looking for a Jpop sound sample search engine like that for some time now! You still have to do some digging, but it makes things so much more convenient. Also, one month ago, I downloaded a Japanese media player program called MagiQlip2 just to hear music samples. You need MagiQlip2 to listen to .OMS2 filetypes, which can be found on some Japanese sites (like Uta-net). I just listened to a sample of Level 4 using it.

Wow! Globe is making it very clear that they're going back to their roots on this new album. The title of the new album is Globe 2 Pop/Rock. Globe's first album was also self-titled, so this a very direct way of showing the return to the old style. I hope this one comes off as succesfully as Lights and Lights 2 did.
P.S. It has a pretty cool looking cover, too. Again, check the Globe official Avex site. ;D

Oh yeah, I just took a look at that. It seems Globe 2 Pop/Rock is going to be released almost exactly ten years after their first album. I'm sure they won't disappoint. Are you going to order it from YesAsia or CDJapan?
Similarly, Two-Mix released their first album (BPM 132) August 23, 1995. So they're a month early for their ten-year album anniversary. From what I've read, it sounded like Joe Rinoie is actually joining Two-Mix-- like, he's going to be an actual member of the group from now on.

Heh... that's cool about Rinoie... although I have to wonder if it'll be short-lived like when Yoshiki supposedly joined Globe. Turned out to be just for Global Trance 2 (and then only like 1 track, really) and Level 4.

Really? Yoshiki is no longer a member of Globe? It seems things just didn't work out. Wow, that picture of Tetsuya and Keiko on the Profile page is really something! I can't believe how those three look. Do you think Marc will still rap in French?
Some time ago I think you said that you have NOT bought Keiko's single KCO yet. Well why haven't you?? It's fabulous!! It has four great original songs, teaming up with Verbal from m-flo.

LOL!!! I actually just ordered it on Yesasia. I'll get it when Globe 2 comes out. I always liked Human Race, but I didn't like the idea that two of the songs on the single were Christmas songs. (Just seemed a little corny to me). But I eventually gave in, and I'm looking forward to getting it. And yeah, Globe's look lately has been this extremely casual look, with jsut this funky, messed-up feel. I can't imagine any reason why Marc wouldn't rap in French, but we'll see.

I can't wait to get Delta One. It's their first original album in 3½ years. I will not take it for granted.
When I take a look at all the music groups I like, the vast majority of them are women singing lyrics written by men. I hadn't really noticed until recently, but I'm very comfortable with that type of group setup-- I've basically come to expect it. I can think of lots of groups now that are two guys and a girl singer.
Lately, I've been listening to this Belgian dance group called Sylver and their lyrics are so incredible. A real world-class professional trance group. The members are Silvy and Wout, but they are also co-produced by Regi Penxten, who is a member of Milk Inc (although I hate Milk Inc because their lyrics can be so unfeeling, but Penxten's music is amazing).

(Sigh) It's been almost three days since release, and YesAsia is still searching from suppliers. If learn to be patient, I know my order will get here soon. I'm going to be one of the first Americans to get the album. Still can't find any samples on the web. Makes hearing them all for the first time all the more exciting! I'm listening to Ian Van Dahl, a top trance group, until it gets here.

Ergh... I woulda thought that when they list something before it comes out, that would kind of imply that they've secured some copies. Wonder how many people ordered that particular CD from them.

I got KCO early cuz Yesasia screwed up the number of shipments. They fixed it though and are paying for the extra shipment I didn't want. Anyway, it's not as bad having the Christmas songs on there as I thought. I still cringe a little when she says Christmas, but I'll get over it. You can definately tell that all the instrumentals are TK, though. And with all the instrumentals, it might as well be a TK album rather than Keiko's. It's fine, I like TK's stuff a lot, I just think it may be a little misleading to label it as Keiko's.
I think I like Umi To No Yuujyou the most, so far.

Yes, the KCO label is a bit of a misnomer. It could be called Globe Minus Marc, lol. It's kind of like how Orbitribe is a pseudo-solo project of t-kimura, because all the songs on Tune On are written by motsu. I am a big fan of Umi to no Yuujou too! I like both the original and the remix equally.
I'm sure it's not YesAsia's first time dealing with Geneon, er however that works. If YesAsia fails to get me Delta One, then I'm going to have to buy it from HMV Japan (that's where I bought my all-time favorite CD Future Girls by Smile.dk). I have been using an online Japanese/English dictionary lately, and earlier today I came across an expression-- nyuushu shinikui ('hard-to-get')-- and I thought to myself, that's a good description of Two-Mix CDs.
You know what's bad? I have run out of disk space on my computer. I'm no longer allowing myself to rip anything else because I only have 1GB of space left. Walking over to the CD rack and putting it in the drive is no big deal, but I just can't add to my library or do playlists with them anymore.
