Well, at least for me. On the 10th, Globe is releasing their newest album. The last one was released way back in 2003. And lately, there had been some talk of the band being done. But not quite yet. This new album should be pretty exciting.
Then, on top of that, I found something interesting while browsing Yesasia today. There's a new M-Flo album release scheduled for the 24th of August!!! I'm so stoked about that.
So, if you're a Globe or an M-Flo fan, or both (like me), you have something to look forward to at the end of the summer!
(Of course, I haven't forgotten about the rumors/talks of a Move single release in August, either. Gonna be one awesome month.)

I'm hoping some new info comes out about the rumoured Orbitribe album sometime this year

I heard from a guy in Japan that he wrote something in his blog about it. It sounded pretty true.

Wow, it's great Globe is finally getting back together for a new release! Talk about a long wait. I'm so thrilled that Two-Mix is going to be coming out with a new mini-album called Delta One on July 27. I'm going to get it as soon as I can. This is the most exciting thing!

Awesome! Seems August will be good for a lot of people! I've always wanted to pick up at least one Two-Mix album, but Yesasia has barely any of their stuff. And what they do have is almost never in stock. (except that one remix CD that's like $35 for 6 tracks or something like that- not really what I would call a good deal) Maybe one day, I'll be able to get something of theirs, though.

Hopefully this will be a chance for you to get one of their albums now. They're collaborating with Joe Rinoie, whoever he is.
The only place you can really get Two-Mix CDs anymore is Jpophelp.com. I'm so glad I snatched up all the Two-Mix songs I could before they disappeared from existence.
By the way, I heard that Minami Takayama just got married to the manga creator of Detective Conan, Aoyama Gosho. As you might know, Minami is the voice actress for the Conan animated series.

Globe's new single, Here I Am was just released today. It's actually a pretty good single, since it includes two versions of the A-side track, plus three of the songs that will be on the new album. In addition, Globe's site has been updated with the complete tracklist for the new album along with previews (in WMP and Real formats). Personally, I'm just gonna wait for the album, but I always do that 'cuz I don't like having the same song multiple times on different albums. But definately check out te updated Globe site if you wanna hear the samples. They really are more along the lines of their older albums. One of the songs even reminds me of a combination of Biting Her Nails and I Miss Your Body. In case you don't know, the URL is www.avexnet.or.jp/globe.

Globe is going back to their old pre-Outernet style? No trance anymore?
I don't follow hardly any Japanese groups anymore, other than Two-Mix, Nami Tamaki, and Megumi Hayashibara because none of the other ones seem to make dance-pop music that I like anymore.
I don't even like to listen to European trance all the time. Thank goodness for Smile.dk!

No, no. Not totally back to pre-Outernet. From what I've heard, it actually seems to be a pretty successful combination of the styles from their two "eras." Go check out their site, and you'll see what I mean. You can hear some trance in a few of the songs, and being that there are only 8 tracks planned, I'm sure some of them are going to be rather long. Which most likely means they're gonna have some kinda trance going on. Although, I'm expecting more Lights/Lights 2 style trance than Level 4 style. But we'll see. On a side note, I'm actually starting to think about getting 245's (Marc's side-venture) album Experience. It came out a couple years ago, but at first, I didn't like what I heard of the samples. These days, it's actually sounding pretty good. May end up picking it up before the summer is through.

Yeah, that's been around for a bit now. Thing is, for people like me who already have all the albums, it's not really worth it. I don't really have any interest in Globe's singles since they have such short track lists.

Omigosh! 38 CDs + 7 DVDs... it probably comes in its own crate!
I would normally agree with you that the singles aren't always necessary... but Globe's singles are ten times better than their album versions! So I think buying Globe singles is a good idea since their singles are so specially made, however, I have not bought any Globe singles yet. As I told you before, when Globe released Tonikaku Mushou ni and Try This Shoot singles, they blew my musical world out of the water!
Megumi Hayashibara is doing a similar thing where she's re-releasing all her old albums which go back all the way to 1991, so this is a good time for people who like to buy that sort of thing. However, I'm chiefly a fan of Megumi's more recent work. The older ones I don't like quite as much as her recent stuff (Feel Well and Center Color). With Megumi, you kind of have to buy her singles because her albums usually do not include her most recent single, so you have to wait for like two years for it to come out on an album. Her "Treat or Goblins" single came out April 2002, and I waited for what seemed like an eternity before it came out in album form on Center Color in Jan 2004. I won't torture myself like that again, lol. I have positively loved every 'single' song that Hayashibara-san has come out with in the last five years, so I have no inhibitions whatsoever about buying her singles now.

Is she the one who sang the Evangelion opening theme?

Yes, that's her. "Zankoku na Tenshi no Teeze" is found on her Bertemu album, and a remix of it can be found on Center Color. She played Rei Ayanami in that show. She's also played Ranma in the Ranma ½ series, Lina in Slayers, Faye in Cowboy Bebop, and I've even heard she plays Jessie and Pidgeotto in Pokemon, lol.
