I unfortunately have not had a chance to watch much of anything; been more into the manga recently since it's more portable and easier to digest between classes.
The few I have been into lately, though, are Saiyuki, Kyou Kara Maou, and Full Moon wo Sagashite. All three are good times, for completely different reasons.
Saiyuki is about four guys - a monk and three demons - who are on a quest to stop the revival of the demon king Gyumaou. It's an action/comedy series based on a Chinese novel whose Chinese name I cannot think of off the top of my head, but it translates to something like "Journey to the West." The anime puts a hilarious spin on it, though. The monk uses a gun, smacks people with a paper fan (harisen), and likes to smoke. One of the demons is stuck in the body of an 18 year old and is constantly hungry. The second of them is a "pacifist" who's actually arguably better at killing than the rest of them. And the third is a skirt-chasing pervert whose three favorite things are women, beer, and cigarettes.
Kyou Kara Maou (trans.: From Today, the Demon King), I have unfortunately not gotten to see a lot of yet. So far as I can surmise so far, it's about a regular old Japanese guy - a high school student, I believe - who falls into an alternate world when he comes into contact with some body of water. The first time this happens is when a bully dunks his head in a toilet.
Turns out that this kid is actually the king of the demons in this alternate world, and they've been awaiting him for some time. He's such a good-natured guy, though, that he tries to establish peace between the humans and demons, much to everyone's confusion. This also is an adventure/comedy, and includes a demon sword with a face that looks like the mask from "Scream", an army general who likes to knit, and as it turns out, the Demon King has something of a split personality.
Full Moon wo Sagashite is a painfully adorable, girly anime about a 12 year old girl with throat cancer who wants to become a singer. She gets visited on the day of a big audition by two Shinigami (gods/angels of death) who are there to make sure she dies when she's supposed to. But she is able to see them - they freak out, because that's not supposed to happen. The male of the pair decides to help her out by changing her into a healthy 16 year old temporarily, so that she can try out for the audition. She wows the judges and ends up with a record label, and the story goes on from there.
Anything else would be full of spoilers, so I'm just going to say that I cried through all 52 episodes. I'm a big sap, what can I say.
As usual, I talk too much. It's cuz I'm avoiding a paper. XD

I like Sayuki, it's almost a joke in itself....
A monk, a demon, the monkey king, and a chain smoking water sprite walk into a bar....
Anyway, I've been watching Ergo Proxy.
It's hard to explain.

Currently, I'm re-watching TENISU NO OUJISAMA. I watched it this summer (February) and I really loved it so I started re-watching it in order to enjoy it and to learn more details about the characters. I love this series!
