I watched so much animation today that my vision started getting blurry. I watched Mega Man NT and Beyblade, and those two shows I thought were pretty interesting when I watched them. I know they might sound dumb compared to some popular anime. They both are like Yu-Gi-Oh. And who knows what other series I will get into?
I have a list of 117 anime titles that I have seen! (Counting TV series and their movies as separate entries.) I think I should automatically be considered an anime fanatic since I've seen 100+ titles.
However, there are certain series which I got more into than others. Here are 20 series that I have shown a little more interest in; that is, I've seen more than four episodes and showed interest in the outcome of the series. Here they are:
Astro Boy Cardcaptors Digimon Gasaraki Hamtaro Kikaider Magical Project S Mon Colle Knights Monster Rancher Pilot Candidate Pokemon Sailor Moon Samurai Pizza Cats Slayers Tenchi Universe Those Who Hunt Elves Transformers Yu-Gi-Oh Yu Yu Hakusho Zoids

That's a lot of anime Joseph! Beyblade is popular here with young kids who collect all of the spinning tops and battle with them. I don't think the craze is a big as Pokemon was though.

First it was Pokemon, then Digimon, and now the one that has overshadowed those is Yu-Gi-Oh. Similar shows like Beyblade are side notes compared to Yu-Gi-Oh.

O.O Hello, fellow Yu-Gi-Oh fan! The dub is horrible, though... once you go to the Japanese version, you never go back!

Digimon was huge here a years ago -- at least the virtual pets were. Everyone in my school had 'em, including me Recently they tried bringing them back with the US release of the anime, but it didn't score well at all. Joseph, i've seen all of Pilot Candidate (well, all of what CN showed). It's a great series! I've seen a lot of Kikaider, and it looks very promising. There are others on your list too that are good. So you got a great list going I have no idea on how many series/movies/ova's i've seen. But its a pretty huge number I might be up there with you Joseph. I gotta count now, hehe -miechelle

Like: Sailor Moon (I have to tell y'all a story about this one ) SPeed Racer Gundam W Voltron (Form FEET AND ARMS) some other stuff and a bunch of movies (I get movies alot because it's cheaper than buying a 49 episode series.

I saw Galaxy Express 999 and Adieu on the Scifi Channel several years ago. My cousin and I have an inside joke from that movie: "You're SO WARM!" lol. I saw Metropolis several months ago. It had unforgettable images. Yet another saying I picked up: "Metropolis is the world leader in industry, economics and culture." The announcer woman says that over and over in one part.
I love Escaflowne the series. I think it's just one of the best! Fatal Fury the Movie is more or less my most favorite anime movie.
I absolutely have to see Jin-Roh. The title means 'wolf-person' so there's obvious reasons why I'm attracted to that.
I've been watching Lain on TechTV. Some parts are so boring. But it has its cool moments. Not one of the better series if you ask me. I also watch Knights of the Zodiac (AKA Saint Seiya) on Cartoon Network, even though I'm not really into 'fighting' anime.
People, we should get the Anime Network, shouldn't we. I hope it comes into wide broadcast someday soon.

I have the uncut Japanese language version of Adieu, it is kick arse.
I have Jin-Roh, it is AWESOME!! It's based off of Little Red Riding Hood, but it's done in such a fashion that you can't tell most of the time. Howenver, I think I've seen the Dead or Alive trailer more than I've seen Jin-Roh.
"We as a people are about to touch the stars! I tremble at the oppurtuninty to tell you of the culmination of mankinds long history of intelectual and scientific achievments. Yesterday our power spanned the Earth, now it can illuminate the Heavens! May it stand forever, our Ziggurat!" I love that quote from the beginning of Metropolis. It's fun to watch in multiple languages.
