Oh good, I'm not alone! I can't wait for episode 2 either... I read somewhere that it's Japanese release was sometime in February...? I've been asking all the local gameshops if they've gotten the English release date yet... one of them told me, "It's supposed to be out in November, but I'm not positive." But have you seen any screenshots from the second episode?! They changed all the graphics!

There are some things they did not change. Ziggy, and MOMO look the same, because, why would they? They are robots! I can't believe they took Shion's glasses away! I liked her better with the glasses I just hope they don't change the voices.

I agree on the voices part. Kos-Mos now has this strange marking on her forhead; and Shion, Kos-Mos, chaos, and Jr./Rubedo all look older. *annoyed* Momo looks a little different, but Ziggy, Marguilis, and Shion's brother Jin all look the same as they did in the first game. They also got different composers for game 2's soundtrack... I think they're the same people who did the music for .Hack. Which, while it isn't terrible, I really loved episode 1's soundtrack

Yasunori Mitsuda did the music for ep.1 and Gears. Yuki Kajiura is doing the music for ep.2 I like Mitsuda and I have several CD's of his music. I have the Gears soundtrack and the Creid CD. An American group called the OneUp Mushrooms did a CD of arrangements of his music on Gears and the Chrono series. Their site is here www.oneupstudios.comYou should be able to get the disc there or from animenation. I love mine! I hang out at the OneUp boards when I'm not here.

I've played Xenosaga and it was fun. Anyway what was that something they removed from the US version?

If you're referring to the bits that the US version censored, I'm not POSITIVE, but I've been told that there were parts with Albedo that were edited. For example, he didn't tear off his own head... he cut it off with a knife. Now, since the US censors don't want a bunch of kids running around going "Look what I can do! I'm just like Albedo!"... they changed it. Because you can't really rip your own head off. So that's one thing... Another thing; when he's extracting MOMO's consciousness, he actually sticks his hand THROUGH her chest, instead of his hand hovering over her; again, probably for the sake of "Kids, don't try this at home" purposes. Also, they changed the expression on his face... likely due to the fact that in the original version, he got off on extracting MOMO's consciousness and had this look of orgasmic glee on his face (I'm not trying to be vulgar; I'm just telling you what I've read). The site that I found that on has been down for well over a month for reasons I'm unaware of. But on the offchance that it comes back, it's: www.everythingxenosaga.comAgain, I don't know if it's true or not; can't always believe everything you read.
