Ok... I must be reading this wrong, but the description says that the DVD is a hybrid DVD containing a PV as well as software for a Vocaloid of Yuri???

Indeed it seems like that's what it says... But I'm not completely positive about the meaning of the whole sentence. I mean... What does (ボーカロイド)ソフト体験版 (Hybrid DVD) really mean? What does "Taiken-ban" mean? "Experimental version"? So it's sort of a sample of an experiment they did on using the Vocaloid on Yuri's voice? @_@ I don't know. Also, is there such a thing as an hybrid DVD between Vocaloid software and regular images DVDs? I have no idea of how Vocaloid works, so... ^^U

It's possible that everything is downloadable from a DVD.
Though, I know there are hybrid CD/DVDs where it's a CD on one side and a DVD on the other. Or it could be like those DVDs that have a movie on them and then have bonus content that you can find when you put the disc in a computer, like a digital copy of the film, a downloadable screenplay, etc.
Vocaloid Yuri? That's gonna be awesome. I love Vocaloid.
Is there anyone here who doesn't know what Vocaloid is? Do I need to explain?

What they mean by a hybrid DVD is that say from tracks 1-4 are PVs which would be video, tracks 5-8 could be software for a computer like Vocaloid software. To think that we'll be able to use Yuri in our Vocaloid software is just amazing!!!

Okay. Vocaloid is a computer program for making vocals in songs. Easy as that. It was originally created by Yamaha. To use it, you type in the lyrics and how you want it to sound (what notes you want stressed, how long you want each lyric to last, etc). It was originally released in Japan. While created by Yamaha, other companies license the software and release their own Vocaloid programs. The first Vocaloid programs were released in 2004. These first Vocaloids were very noticeable. You could tell right away that a robot was singing. Example 1. LEON singing "Love is War": www.youtube.com/watch?v=z20PdIj-Rr8In 2007, Yamaha released the Vocaloid 2 architecture. It was a lot better than the original Vocaloid software. Example 2: Miku Hatsune singing "Love is War": www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dYk5Plhl9YMiku Hatsune was the first of the Vocaloid 2 series to be released. Her voice was created by sampling a voice actress named Saki Fujita. Miku is currently the most popular. A search on YouTube or NicoNicoDouga will have thousands of results. Some of my favorite Miku songs: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTevZTLL45Qwww.youtube.com/watch?v=vHkxXsN5k4Y&feature=relatedwww.youtube.com/watch?v=oO4tbqYkgD0From Miku's live concert: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbFbXuaKviMwww.youtube.com/watch?v=OLzOrik5YJ8This last one is kinda special. The story goes like this, a guy drew a picture and said "This is the Black Rock Shooter" he showed it to a friend who made the song. The song got popular and someone made the video you're looking at. Either later this month or next month the Black Rock Shooter movie is going to be released. While Miku is the most popular, there are many other Vocaloids. One thing I should mention is that KEI, the guy who is listed as creating Anim.o.v.e 2's cover art is the same guy who draws the main picture of every Vocaloid. (at least the ones by Crypton) Under the terms of license, a user cannot commercially distribute a vocal as a song sung by the character, nor use the mascot image on commercial products, without Crypton's consent. Which means that all of the videos that feature Miku and the others and even the songs that say "featuring Miku Hatsune" or whoever are in breach of contract. Yet it continues. But I digress. There are many Vocaloids. Each one has its own style it's good at, though ingenious fans have been able to come up with many derived characters. Like, Miku Hatsune is mostly for J-Pop style songs, while the derived character Miku Hagane is for death metal songs. Example 3: Miku Hagane singing "Delete, Enter": www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TfGpeYOEroMore Vocaloid songs: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITDCNe2ZgREwww.youtube.com/watch?v=H22xjO-lTtgThe last song is by a Vocaloid trio. One of the "singers" is called Gackupo. His voice is based on Gackt Camui. A popular singer/actor in Japan. Former lead singer of Malice Mizer. His is one of the best Vocaloids. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF3VXkImVg4www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PEntk2Vld8"I Sing For You" is sang by one of my favorite Vocaloids, Luka Megurine. She was the first Vocaloid I'd ever heard that really sounded like a real person singing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Zfmy0uT58QShe can also cover Lady Gaga pretty good. www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7VaQQt-GmMwww.youtube.com/watch?v=9b5Dj5gnvUo - Miku Zatsune www.youtube.com/watch?v=aR5S5_wla4cwww.youtube.com/watch?v=1KDH5Iuy9hUwww.youtube.com/watch?v=ZI4KdLKHpW8www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbZu1ByuYkkDid I answer your questions? Do you have more? Also, that last link was Malice Mizer's "Syunikiss."

But, the most important thing is... WE HAVE A NEW ANIM.O.V.E AHEAD YEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure there are tutorials for how to use Vocaloid in English.
The Luka Megurine Vocaloid program was made so that the Luka voice could sing English and Japanese. No idea if the user interface was the same way.

It's a trial version of vocaloid (30 days maybe).
Fate Seeker is a vocaloid song i think. Maybe some of Yuri's vocals are vocaloid since she is pregnant ! i haven't search more about this. But i know they already used it on Dream Again or anim.o.v.e01.
I have few full version links of vocaloid since months on my board but i never tested them.
I don't undertstand why they didn't just made a hybrid dvd...
